The Community Center has a community helicopter pad, used mainly for emergency medical evacuations.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The Big Bend Community Center (formerly the Big Bend Community Club, established in 1950) recently got a new start in 2024! The BBCC had been closed for several years and needed to be reactivated by a group of dedicated local volunteers. Several community member volunteers have stepped forward to work on the re-start, which involved a new Board of Directors, the re-creation of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, facility maintenance and repairs, and enlisting more volunteers to get back up & running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please help when you can.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
